Steve Borrill returns from Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games

Steve Borrill has recently returned from 10 days working at the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games. During his time in Scotland, Steve was based at the Tollcross Aquatics Centre working with international swimmers from across the Commonwealth. Steve was selected as Lead Physiotherapist based on previous sporting experience at International Compititions.

His role was to manage a team of physiotherapy and sports massage practitioners assisting them in clinical decision making where required and offering expertise in sports injury assessment, treatment and management.

Commenting on his time in Glasgow Steve recalls "This was another great experience personally and something I am very proud of. I was honoured to be offered the Lead Physiotherapy role and feel as a team we supported many swimmers from across the Commonwealth to achieve their full potentional, reaching indiviual goals and personal bests. I look forward to my next opportunity to work at a major sporting event."
