Timing is everything

So after working hard with the new clinic and getting ready for the first clinic on Friday 20th March 2020; then Covid-19 hit with social isolation resulting in the doors of the clinic closing on Monday 23rd March. This was not in the business plan and career pathway. This was very disappointing as the excitment for the opening of the new clinic was just building and the work was progressing on the next stage of the development. However the safety of the public comes first and beating this virus in a timely manner is the new goal. My work in the NHS continues although this role is changing by the day. We have stopped face to face out patient clinics and resorted to telephone triage but essentially the NHS is working different to how we know it.

This time does refocus the mind and brings to the fore the importance of family and friends. I have been able to spend more time with the immediate family and helping the children with their home schooling. Things seem somewhat more simple, there is less hustle and bustle, there is more time to enjoy life and there is plenty of opportunity to exercise.

The new clinic will still be there after Covid-19 and the hard work will pay off. I will continue to update the blog with developments when they come and look forward to welcoming you to the new clinic in the near future.

If you have any rehabilitation questions then feel free to get in touch and I will make sure you are on the right track
